I took one last selfie a week (or two) ago… The last one of Summer. I like this one 'cause eyebrow make-up is my new favorite everyday routine.
But the end of Summer is also the end of sandals, gladiator sandals, crop top, Levi's vintage shorts, straw hat, bikini (Kiini swim), little dresses, etc.
But no worries (!!!) : boots, over the knee boots, hat in general and wonderful coat are coming!
I'm looking forward to wear my Balenciaga ankle boots. Even if I know I can wear them in Summer, this last one was too hot! And I'm actually saving to get a dreamlike coat from Max Mara. (click here to know which one I'm dreaming for)
So Summer is over, as I said and you should (if it's not already done) do your new wardrobe for next season.
After several hours/days of monitoring the last Fashion weeks (from Paris to London and in New York), here my principal observations and advice for Autumn-Winter 2015.
The Floor-Duster Coat
Last season’s statement coat trend has legs for fall, quite literally, and hemlines on the most eye-catching outerwear tumbled to the floor at Dries Van Noten, Marni, Chanel and a little bit like my Max Mara one . Unless you stand over six feet tall in stockinged feet, then pulling off the look will require some towering heels.
The Slip Dress
The nineties favorite was reimagined in a myriad of new and unexpected ways this season. Worn over pants and under an anorak, the traditional lace-trimmed piece provided a clever dusting of femininity to the layered-up winter look.
Here's my favorites from Rag & Bones and from Narciso Rodriguez
The White Blouse
There’s something so alluring about the deceptive simplicity of a white blouse… the runways were full of reasons to go back and embrace a classic.
Altuzarra and Tory Burch are the most wearable for working day.
Good tailoring never goes out of style, and menswear inspired style influence…
I already have one from Claudie Pierlot (from last year), but Chloé, Stella, Bottega Veneta and Boss did it perfectly!
SHINE BRIGHT LIKE A DIAMOND…
Always the best trend for the end of year, to celebrate with a princess outfit!
This one could be the best one! From Nina Ricci
See you soon on the blog!:) XOXO
